We completed a new office and warehouse facility for Trujillo and Sons on the 5.7 acre property adjacent to their headquarters facility on the corner of NW 62nd Street and 33rd Avenue in Miami Dade County’s Enterprise Zone. Albert O. Gonzalez Architects of Miami designed the 151,380 SF project with a structure consisting of tilt-up panels & twin tee roof structure. This state-of-the-art facility includes a two-story space to house their office operations with a portion of the warehouse to include 18,000 SF of freezer and cooler storage and the remaining space for the products they distribute within the U.S., the Caribbean and South America. The bays feature 30 ft. clear-height ceilings, concrete-reinforced mezzanine floors and a loading area.

Trujillo & Sons, established in 1966 and founded by Lucas Trujillo Sr., is a family owned and operated company dedicated to providing quality food products to the food service and retail industries. He started to build a food distribution empire by purchasing a small produce truck where he began by delivering produce to restaurants and family homes. Rapidly the company grew and evolved into dry groceries and manufacturing. Operated by a third-generation, Trujillo & Sons is a first-class food manufacture and distribution operation.

“We are ecstatic to continue to deliver top-quality manufacturing & distribution spaces throughout South Florida and are pleased to partner with Trujillo & Sons on their state of the art facility”, says Guillermo Fernandez, President of Link Construction Group.
