FIU HERBERT AND NICOLE WERTHEIM
SCHOOL OF MUSIC & PERFORMING ARTS HVAC AND CONTROLS

As part of our Continuing Services Contract with FIU, this project was the complete renovation of the mechanical system at the Herbert and Nicole Wertheim School of Music & Performing Arts, including the School of Music and the School of Theater. We replaced sixteen air handling units, over forty VAV’s, EDH’s, chill water pumps, and a new double wall duct in the mechanical rooms. Additionally, controls were connected to the campus Energy Management System, and new electrical feeders to all of the mechanical rooms. All of this work was performed while the School of Music and the School of Theater were fully operational.
