CITY OF WESTON EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTER

New construction of an emergency operation center, The Weston Emergency Operation Center will be located at 17200 Royal Palm Boulevard. Saltz Michelson, out of Fort Lauderdale, has designed the 25,000 SF, three story structure to allow city staff to respond to an emergency or disaster in a centralized, state-of-the-art location to withstand a category-5 storm.

The new building also houses the city’s information technology hardware and building department and will be used daily for code services.
