CITY OF MIRAMAR VIZCAYA PARK AND COMMUNITY CENTER

Vizcaya Park is the first City of Miramar facility to seek LEED certification. The project involved the construction of a new 23.45-acre park and community center. The new 7,660 SF, one story community center features a game room, a computer lab, offices and support spaces. In addition, the park offers fitness trails, 3 new baseball fields, a soccer/multi-use field, basketball courts, sports lighting, pavilions, and luscious landscaping and hardscaping. The sustainable site was designed and constructed to support water efficiency, energy consumption, and improve environmental indoor quality.
