Bonaventure Fire Rescue Station No. 21 is a new, one-story 12,578 SF facility for the City of Weston. This project includes a watch room, nine bunk rooms, offices, exercise room, kitchen & dining, bunker gear, day room, 3 bay apparatus and building support spaces. Construction entails concrete masonry and reinforced concrete fire rescue station, designed for wind loads equivalent of a Category Five storm event. The station will be complete with three drive apparatus bays, nine bunk rooms, day room, kitchen, watch room, exercise room, restrooms/showers, offices, bunker gear, storage areas, decontamination room, extractor/laundry room, air boat storage, emergency generator room and building support spaces. The project will also include front and rear access drives with concrete aprons, parking lot, site lighting, irrigation, landscaping, sidewalks, onsite civil & utilities infrastructure, off-site traffic turn lane and roadway median improvements.
