Link Construction Group Breaks Ground on the Historic Hialeah Park Horse Race Track

Miami, FL-September 28, 2009, Link Construction Group breaks ground on the first phase of construction for the historic Hialeah Park Horse Race Track. The Brunetti Organization has retained Link Construction Group to take on the historical renovation to re-open the Hialeah landmark. Orlando Ceballos, Link's lead project manager on the project, has organized a group of local area subcontractors for repairs and cosmetic enhancements throughout the 100,000 square foot clubhouse portion of the park. Over one hundred different tradesmen are working on the project around the clock in order to have the facilities ready by the November 28, 2009 deadline, just in time for the upcoming Quarter Horse Race Event.

The subcontractors assigned to this project all share a great deal of enthusiasm towards being a part of this historic renovation. Abel Demien, owner of Hialeah based electrical Firm, Green Light Electric is proud to be working on this historic property where he resides. Harvey Diaz, of Dirtsa Concrete & Pavers has volunteered his services to restore the pavers on the project. Mr. Diaz stated, "The sentimental value of working in the place where I frequented with my parents as a child is enough payment for my services." Hialeah based S&J Roofing will be performing the roof related repairs and also shares the excitement about the opportunity and the rewards this will bring to the city. All Welding and Fabrication have plans to hire new personnel to perform the tasks at hand.

The Hialeah Race Track which first opened in the 1920's has been vacant since 2001. The first phase of construction will allow the park to reopen and resume racing. Owner, John Brunetti Jr. has additional plans for construction in the coming years.
